This 3 x AAA Battery Eliminator Kit is used to replace real AAA batteries in flameless LED candles and other electronic devices that uses 3 x AAA batteries. Perfect for use in electronic devices that are heavily used or left on for extended periods of time. This 3 x AAA Battery Eliminator Kit includes 1 x AAA Active Dummy Cell Battery, 2 x AAA Passive Dummy Cell Batteries, and an AC to DC Wall Power Adapter. These components easily and neatly plug into each other for a complete "plug-and-play" battery eliminator solution! Stop changing out dead batteries and start saving money! Stop worrying about whether your electronic device is turned off or in the timer mode!
The AAA Active and Dummy Cell Batteries included in this kit are the same size as regular AAA batteries, so they easily fit into the electronic device's battery compartment spaces. It doesn't matter which space they go into as long as you observe the correct polarities just as you would when inserting real batteries. The thin flat flexible cable (FFC cable) coming out of the AAA Active Dummy Cell Battery can easily be run around the side of most battery compartment covers, so the original battery compartment cover can still be used. In some cases, it might be necessary to take a small file and file out a shallow groove in the battery compartment cover to give the FFC cable more room to run around the side of the cover.
The AC to DC Wall Power Adapter included in this kit is designed for use with the included 3 x AAA Dummy Cell Batteries. The AC to DC Wall Power Adapter plugs into a standard wall outlet and converts the 120VAC coming from the wall outlet into 5VDC which is the voltage required to power electronic devices that use 3 x AAA batteries. Since this AC to DC Wall Power Adapter can supply up to 1A of output current, it can power any electronic device on the market that uses 3 x AAA batteries.
The AAA Active Dummy Cell Battery FFC cable and AC to DC Wall Power Adapter cable can easily be hidden behind furniture, plants and under table cloths, rugs, decorative snow, etc.

NOTE: The AAA Active Dummy Cell Battery and AAA Passive Dummy Cell Batteries are not real batteries and will not power an electronic device on its own. They need to be used in conjunction with the included AC to DC Wall Power Adapter as discussed above and depicted in the included diagram.
NOTE: Since each regular AAA battery supplies 1.5VDC, three AAA batteries will supply 4.5VDC. The included AC to DC Wall Adapter supplies an output voltage of 5VDC which is within the acceptable range required by electronic devices that use 3 x AAA batteries.
WARNING(S): Do not attempt to charge the AAA Dummy Cell Batteries with a battery charger. Doing so may damage the battery charger.
