It has the same look as a traditional BR30 bulb making it suitable for use in track and recessed light fixtures, and its damp location rating makes it suitable for use in bath applications. It has an average life of 22.8 years (25,000 hours), so if you are tired of replacing burned out light bulbs, then this is the bulb for you. It will use 80% less power than a traditional 65W incandescent BR30 bulb and reaches full brightness instantly unlike a compact fluorescent (CFL) bulb.
