This set of 2 Liown Moving Flame 7/8-inch x 8-inch, flameless LED taper candles are made of real ivory colored unscented paraffin wax and feature 5-hour timers that can turn the candles “on†and “off†at the same time every day. The candles are remote ready (remote sold separately), and push button switches on the bottom turn them “on†and “off†or puts them in the 5-hour timer mode. Since these candles are made of real wax, they are recommended for use indoors or outside in cool, shady areas. We also carry plastic candles for use outside in direct sunlight. Liown Moving Flame candles capture the essence of a burning candle by emulating the dancing nature of a real flame. "Moving Flame" is the trademarked name Liown uses to refer to its patented technology for electromagnetic movement of a flame-like shape, which reflects a light emitting diode (LED) for a realistic flame lighting device. Liown's Moving Flame candles capture the essence of a real wick burning candle, emulating the dancing nature of the flame and providing the fragrance of a real wax candle. All of Liown's wax candles are made of real, 100% paraffin wax which is free of impurities like lead, often found in candles made from recycled wax. Also, the LED color is customized to match a real burning flame, and each LED is set to a specific color range to ensure consistency from candle to candle. When you purchase a Liown flameless LED candle, you can be assured that you are getting the highest quality candle on the market today.
Operation
Press the push button switch located on the bottom of the candle to turn it “on†and “offâ€. Press and hold the push button switch until the candle blinks once in order to activate the 5-hour timer mode. When the candle is in the 5-hour mode, it will automatically turn “on†for 5-hours and then turn “off†for 19-hours. The candle will remain “on†for 5-hours from the time that the 5-hour timer mode was activated. The candle will repeat the same daily cycle. The 5-hour timer mode can be deactivated by simply turning the candle “off†by pressing the push button switch. The candle is remote ready and will work with various hand-held remote controls such as Liown, Luminara, Torchier and Avalon (sold separately). The hand-held remote control can be used to turn the candles “on†and “off†when the candles are in the “on†mode.
Batteries can be installed by turning the battery cover on the bottom of the candle counter-clockwise and removing the battery cover. Install 2 x AA alkaline batteries making sure they are inserted with the correct polarity. Replace the battery cover by turning the battery cover clockwise. Alkaline batteries are recommended for maximum candle burn time. Lithium batteries can also be used to further extend the candle burn time. .
