Description

This set of 2 Luminara Moving Flame 15/16-inch (~1-inch) diameter x 9.5-inches overall heigh (8-inches average wax height), flameless LED taper candles are made of real ivory colored unscented paraffin wax and feature 5-hour timers that can turn the candles “on” and “off” at the same time every day. The candles are remote ready (remote sold separately), and push button switches on the bottom turn them “on” and “off” or puts them in the 5-hour timer mode. Since these candles are made of real wax, they are recommended for use indoors or outside in cool, shady areas. We also carry plastic candles for use outside in direct sunlight. Each candle requires 2 x AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) which provide approximately 150 hours of burn time. Embrace all of the benefits and splendor of a real candle anytime and anywhere.

Operation

Press the push button switch located on the bottom of the candle to turn it “on” and “off”. Press and hold the push button switch until the candle blinks once in order to activate the 5-hour timer mode. When the candle is in the 5-hour mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. The candle will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the 5-hour timer mode was activated. The candle will repeat the same daily cycle. The 5-hour timer mode can be deactivated by simply turning the candle “off” by pressing the push button switch. The candle is remote ready and will work with various hand-held remote controls such as Liown, Luminara, Torchier and Avalon (sold separately). The hand-held remote control can be used to turn the candles “on” and “off” when the candles are in the “on” mode.

Batteries can be installed by turning the battery cover on the bottom of the candle counter-clockwise and removing the battery cover. Install 2 x AA alkaline batteries making sure they are inserted with the correct polarity. Replace the battery cover by turning the battery cover clockwise. Alkaline batteries are recommended for maximum candle burn time. Lithium batteries can also be used to further extend the candle burn time. .
