This Luminara set of 4 rechargeable tealights come with a charging base and is remote capable (remote sold separately). Each flameless LED candle is made of ivory colored plastic and features a 5-hour timer that can turn the candle “on” and “off” at the same time every day. A 3-position switch on the bottom of each candle turns it either “on” or “off”, or puts it in the 5-hour timer mode. When each candle is in the “timer” mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. Each candle will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the 3-way switch is placed in the “timer” mode. Each candle will repeat the same daily cycle until the timer is reset which is accomplished by sliding the 3-way switch to the “off” position and then back to the “timer” position at the desired “on” time. When the switch is in the “on” position, the hand-held remote control feature is active. Since these tealights are constructed of ABS plastic, they won’t melt in the summer sun or crack in the winter cold; however, we recommend they be kept away from rain and water. The AC adapter for the charging base is included along with a hand-held remote control.
