This Liown Moving Flame set of 4 tealights are made of ivory colored ABS plastic and features a 5-hour timer that can turn the tealights “on” and “off” at the same time every day. These votives also have built-in receivers for the optional hand-held remote control (sold separately). A 3-position switch on the bottom of each tealight turns it either “on” or “off”, or puts it in the 5-hour timer mode. When each tealight is in the “timer” mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. Each tealight will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the 3-way switch is placed in the “timer” mode. Each tealight will repeat the same daily cycle until the timer is reset which is accomplished by sliding the 3-way switch to the “off” position and then back to the “timer” position at the desired “on” time. Since these tealights are constructed of plastic, they won’t melt in the summer sun or crack in the winter cold; however, we recommend they be kept away from rain and water. Since these tealights only measure 1.5-inches in diameter by 1.5-inches tall (2.25-inches to tip of flame), they can be easily placed in small tealight holders or other tight locations. Each tealight runs on a 3V, CR2450 lithium button cell battery (included) and will last about 50-hours.
