Lifelike flickering flame randomly moves from side to side! This Mystique flameless LED taper candle is 7/8-inch x 8-inch, and is coated with real dark green colored unscented paraffin wax and features a 5-hour timer that can turn the candle “on” and “off” at the same time every day. A push button switch on the bottom turns it “on” and “off” or puts it in the 5-hour timer mode. Since this candle is coated with real wax, it is recommended for use indoors or outside in cool, shady areas. We also carry plastic candles for use outside in direct sunlight. The candle requires 2 x AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) which provide approximately 150 hours of burn time.

Operation

Press the push button switch located on the bottom of the candle to turn it “on” and “off”. Press and hold the push button switch until the candle blinks once in order to activate the 5-hour timer mode. When the candle is in the 5-hour mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. The candle will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the 5-hour timer mode was activated. The candle will repeat the same daily cycle. The 5-hour timer mode can be deactivated by simply turning the candle “off” by pressing the push button switch.

Batteries can be installed by turning the battery cover on the bottom of the candle counter-clockwise and removing the battery cover. Install 2 x AA alkaline batteries making sure they are inserted with the correct polarity. Replace the battery cover by turning the battery cover clockwise. Alkaline batteries are recommended for maximum candle burn time. Lithium batteries can also be used to further extend the candle burn time. .
