This Liown Moving Flame LED tealight candle lantern is made of black metal, and the tealight is made of a tough ivory colored ABS material. The lantern features a 5-hour timer that can turn the tealight “on” and “off” at the same time every day. A 3-position switch on the bottom of the lantern turns it either “on” or “off”, or puts it in the 5-hour timer mode. When it is in the “timer” mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. The lantern will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the 3-way switch is placed in the “timer” mode. The lantern will repeat the same daily cycle until the timer is reset which is accomplished by sliding the 3-way switch to the “off” position and then back to the “timer” position at the desired “on” time. Since the tealight is constructed of a tough ABS material, it won’t melt in the summer sun or crack in the winter cold; however, we recommend the lantern be kept away from rain and water. The tealight runs on a 3V, CR2450 lithium button cell battery (included) and will last about 50-hours.
