This Luminara 3.5-inch x 7-inch, flameless LED candle is made of real ivory colored wax and features a 5-hour timer that can turn the candle “on” and “off” at the same time every day. The candle is remote ready and has a built-in receiver for the optional hand-held remote control (sold separately). A 3-position switch on the bottom of the candle turns it either “on” or “off”, or puts it in the 5-hour timer mode. When the switch is in the “on” position, the hand-held remote control feature is active. When the candle is in the “timer” mode, it will automatically turn “on” for 5-hours and then turn “off” for 19-hours. The candle will remain “on” for 5-hours from the time that the 3-way switch is placed in the “timer” mode. The candle will repeat the same daily cycle until the timer is reset which is accomplished by sliding the 3-way switch to the “off” position and then back to the “timer” position at the desired “on” time. Since this candle is made of real wax, it is recommended for use indoors or outside in cool, shady areas. We also carry plastic candles for use outside in direct sunlight. Runs on 2 x D batteries (sold separately) with a battery life of approximately 1000-hours on a set of alkaline batteries.
